How to view UCLA class schedule? ›

The UCLA schedule of classes can be found on the UCLA Registrar's Office via the Registration & Classes tab. The UCLA schedule of classes allows students to search for courses available, depending on the term and search criterion.

UCLA is supposed to be academically challenging! Chances are, even some of the smartest students here have probably also failed a test or retaken a class at some point in their college careers.

There is no limit to the number of Passed/Not Passed courses you may repeat for those courses in which you receive a grade of “Not Passed.”

It is recommended that you take no more than three (3) classes in your first quarter at UCLA. We recommend that you take two (2) science/major classes and one (1) non-science course, e.g., general education, writing, etc. in your first quarter.

Enrollment Status

A study list of 12 or more units for registered undergraduate students, or 8 or more units for registered graduate students, is considered full-time status for enrollment reporting, insurance, intercollegiate athletics, and financial aid purposes.

Students enroll in classes through MyUCLA during assigned times—called enrollment appointments—when they are allowed to enroll.

The average GPA of admitted students tends to float around 4.5, but this is the weighted GPA, considering the extra points from Honors and AP classes. Now, a 3.7 unweighted GPA is fairly competitive; however, it is indeed below the UCLA average.
